About Megan

My name is Megan, I am a graduate of the University of Vermont class of 2019 with a BA in Studio Art and Neuroscience. I have experience with a wide range of subjects (i. e. ecology, computer science, anatomy, chemistry, literature, Arabic, middle eastern studies, printmaking, ceramics, psychology, and more) and creating lesson plans for high school courses including US history and criminology. I have always had a passion for teaching and working with children and youth. From 2017 to 2019 I worked at an after school program and preschool in South Burlington, Vermont, which engaged more formal methods of instruction with ages 3 to 11. I have also worked at Pleasant Valley Summer Camp with ages 8 to16 for three years and completed the leadership program, which includes developing programs and specific lesson plans. I have a true value for learning and I am currently completing prerequisites for a Nursing degree. Please don't hesitate to ask for more information!
