About Megan

I have worked as an English tutor for two Spanish speaking children while studying abroad in Spain. While tutoring, I constructed visual and auditory exercises to facilitate learning as well as led in-depth explanations of English syntax and grammar. I created fun activities and games to make the experience enjoyable for the children. I have also worked as a tutor in reading and writing at an elementary school in Syracuse, where I designed activities to facilitate reading comprehension and encouraged the use of proper pace and pronunciation. I also have experience working as a teacher's assistant at an inclusive education preschool, where I worked with children with a range range of disabilities. When working with the children I encouraged appropriate behaviors and socialization amongst peers using strategies based on the principles of ABA.
