About Megan

Hello, I am currently a third-year student in the Occupational Therapy Doctorate program at the University of Minnesota. I have always had a passion for enhancing the quality of lives for seniors and love to build meaningful connections with them and their families. I have obtained much experience working with a wide range of patients experiencing various cognitive and physical abilities through my fieldwork experiences in school. I bring hands-on experience from my previous job at adult day services, specializing in care for adults with dementia. I gained valuable skills in cognitive stimulation, emotional support, and creating an engaging environment for seniors. I feel comfortable performing safe transfers, assisting with activities of daily living, and adhering to post-surgical precautions.
