About Meera

I am happy to care for your child while being mindful of her budding independence. I come from a large family of six siblings with 10 nieces and nephews, which influenced my decision to become a nurturing and respectful care giver. I am glad as I found it was easy to develop a rapport with children. I have about 15 wonderful years of childcare experience, which includes six years of home schooling here in Pittsburgh. I am PA certified in secondary education from Chatham University - English- and part of my training includes Early Childhood Development. I have enjoyed contributing to the social, emotional, and cognitive milestones of the lovely children whom I have had the privilege of caring for and learning from as well. Nurturing with love and understanding, while engaging in the excitement of fun: creative play, arts & crafts, conversation, singing, walking, dancing, poetry, cooking and learning core subjects were certainly rewarding.
