About Meaghan

I like working with kids because I am a life long learner and love thinking about creative ways to support curiosity, discovery, motivation, and other characteristics of childhood development. I love nurturing youth self-confidence and independence while demonstrating the importance and value of community. I'm looking to work in an environment where expectations are clear and realistic. I would love to support a home that seeks additional help with routines or supporting big behaviors. In my spare time, I like to hangout with my family, play chess, read and write. I am a licensed therapist with experience working with 3-21-year-old youth with disabilities in school settings and have been a nanny for a newborn and 18-month-old. My skills include positive behavioral support, knowledge of child development, and clear and consistent expectations.
