About Meagan

I have spent many years caregiving for families with children with special needs and adults with disability. Originally I worked at an MDO and preschool, I then went on to work as a private caregiver. I have spent some time with agencies like United Cerebral Palsy, but the bulk of my time has been in private caregiving. My education background is in Psychology, I'm a senior at UAB. Even in my education, I have focused on childhood disability, developmental psychology, and autism. I have also volunteered with therapeutic riding farms. Currently I volunteer my time to help with the raising of service dogs at a local foundation and am starting with another farm this January.
