About Meadow

Hi there, I'm Meadow! I have been working with children since I was 16 as a babysitter, and have since found a passion for childcare as I continue to work as a preschool teacher and nanny! I attended The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and graduated with my BFA in creative writing. I then returned to school at City Colleges of Chicago to get my early childhood education teaching certification. My arts background has given me a love for doing crafts and art projects with children! From creating sensory "potions", to finger painting our big feelings, designing accessible art experiences for all ages is a strong suit of mine. I have worked as a teacher and nanny for children ages 3 months to 12 years. I am a patient, loving caregiver who sees a lot of value in getting on a child's level and truly working to understand and connect with them. I have a very play-based philosophy and have been told I have endless energy when it comes to playtime!
