About Mckenzie

I started caring for seniors during my senior year of high school. Through a 2 year program my school offered I obtained my Nursing Assistant Certification. I earned this with 40 hands-on clinical hours as well as other important certifications. In my spare time, I like to socialize with my family and friends. I enjoy running, painting and reading. One thing you should know about me is that I am very passionate about understanding the impact I can have on someone and put all patients at the center of my focus. I like caring for seniors because I understand that some autonomy is lost as age increases and I feel fulfilled when I am able to help my elders gain opportunities to obtain a sense of autonomy again. My skills include listening with not just my ears but also my body language, having sensitivity towards others and being considerate when performing skills. I'd describe my personality as charismatic, understanding, and outgoing.
