About McKenzie

Bringing joy, patience, and nurturing care to children is something I genuinely love. I'm 19 years old and a freshman at UC Irvine majoring in Drama, which has strengthened my creativity and communication skills. As the youngest of seven children, I've been caring for my nieces and nephews since I was 8 years old and have experience with children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I strive to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable and valued. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children at a time and am happy to help with meal prep, light housekeeping, homework, and swimming supervision. I prioritize open communication with parents and am confident enforcing household rules in a calm and consistent way. I enjoy engaging kids in creative, mostly screen-free play like board games, puzzles, and imaginative activities. I also have a driver's license and reliable transportation, making me dependable and flexible for schedules and pickups.
