Hello! My name is McKenzie and I have been working with children since I was 14 years old, starting out by babysitting my neighbors' kids during the summer months. Originally from Olympia, WA, I moved here due to my spouse's job but will be traveling back to WA this fall to finish student teaching 3rd grade. For the past 4 years, I have been working with a family of two young girls. During this time, we enjoyed outings to the beach, lake, YMCA, baking, crafting, and engaging in hands-on learning activities. I believe in allowing kids to be kids and fostering a love for learning in a fun and interactive way. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, and going on road trips. While I don't currently have any pets, I have a soft spot for farm animals. I look forward to learning more about your families needs !
