About Mckenzie

At the age of 13 I started watching my next door neighbor, who was two at the time, for special occasions. I absolutely loved it! Since then, my experience has grown tremendously! In middle and high school I watched what started as three but turned into 4 children from newborn to 7. This is where I acquired most of my newborn experience. During this time I worked on and off as teacher/teachers assistant within my church's Sunday morning children's service. I have spent a couple semester working in childcare for a local homeschool group which taught me how to deal with larger numbers of kids. Within the past year I have regularly watched a 2-year-old in which I've held the responsibility of feeding and keeping her engaged. I also make it a priority in every household to make sure that the environment is put together, as time allows. I often assist in mild household care such as doing the dishes, and mild pet care such as making sure they are fed and that bathrooms are accessible.
