McKenna accepted a job we listed for an evening babysitter. On the day she was babysitting I had a work emergency which required me to leave town unexpectedly. We also had 4 different activities for our kids that night including a preschool program. She arrived as we were departing and quickly jumped in and started helping with homework. I called her to connect and fill her in and she asked questions about anything the kids needed to be sure to complete. I explained that I was a bit frazzled by the turn of events and she calmly listened and was assuring that she had things and was wanting to help. She communicated clearly that our kids had good behavior and was also clear about a few areas that our kids could work on. She was kind in explaining their behaviors that were positive and the behaviors we could work with them on. She didn't overly focus on negative she was calm and made sure to add positive. McKenna was thoughtful about why she loved watching kids, her focus on nursing and her desire to help others. One night with McKenna and our hearts were filled with appreciation. I asked the kids after she left what they thought and their responses were "she is so nice! She braided my hair! She is fun! She sat with us and played! She helped me with homework and was patient." McKenna has a lot she is juggling and we are grateful she took time to be incredibly kind to our family and helpful. We highly recommend!
