About McKenna

Hello! My name is McKenna. I am 19 years old and a Sophomore in college, majoring in Elementary Education. I have past experience working as a childcare provider for ages 2-12 in various settings such as KC, summer camp, and Bible class. I started working with kids when I was in my Freshman year of high-school. I volunteered as an aid in my local church in Children's Ministry with ages 2-3! I'd describe my personality as fairly silly. I have no sense of pride if it means having fun and getting the kids to laugh, so I will sing songs and dance around if that's what's going to break the ice. I am also calm under pressure and I don't get angry easily. I have worked with all kinds of kids, and I am good at recognizing any problems they may have and helping to make them comfortable. My goal for the Summer is to gain further experience while also giving parents peace of mind, knowing their children are happy and cared for.
