About Maya

Bringing joy to children's lives and supporting families is a passion of mine. I offer a patient, creative, and friendly approach. I have experience with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I also have First Aid Training and Early Child Development Coursework. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational games. I always follow the parents' lead on household rules and communication preferences. I am comfortable caring for one child or a whole family. I am excited to use my skills to help your children learn and grow. I am currently attending Crown College as a nursing major. When I am not at college I work at Ecumen Assisted Living providing all levels of care for senior residents. I served as an assistant in a first grade classroom for one year by helping children individually and in groups. Last summer I served as a camp counselor for kids camp. I led Bible School on a mission trip to Ireland, and currently am a Sunday school and youth group helper.
