About Maya

Hi! My name is Maya. I'm a caring, patient and responsible childcare worker and have experience working with children of different ages and needs. I have a bachelor's degree and currently pursuing my master's degree. I am also a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). I have experience working as a tutor, camp counselor, paraprofessional and RBT. I really enjoy working with children, playing with them, and keeping them engaged through fun activities. I'm comfortable helping kids with homework, preparing simple meals, reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and maintaining daily routines. I take the responsibility of caring for someone's children seriously. I always make sure children feel comfortable and happy while in my care. I started working with children back in high school as a nanny. During college, I worked as a tutor and special education paraprofessional. After graduating, I continued working with children in different settings as a behavioral technician.
