About Maya

Hi! I am Maya and I have 4 years experience working as a caregiver of children ages 0 to 14. I work as a full-time nanny/babysitter. My time working for the Warren Special Recreation Association in Gurnee, IL gave me generous experience with children and adults with special needs. I am trained on how to safely assist individuals with diverse physical and psychological needs in addition to what to do in case of an emergency. My understanding and sensitivity for those with different needs than mine flourished while working for this amazing organization. Volunteering for my church's children's ministry has also allowed me to gain immeasurable experience in childcare. I get the privilege of helping kids foster a relationship with God and watch them grow in their love for Him and others. This program at my church has been a irreplaceable part of my career. Additionally, I am first aid and CPR certified, have a reliable vehicle for transportation and am fluent in English and Polish.
