About Maya

Hi! My name is Maya. I graduated from Florida State University with a major in Family and Child Sciences and a minor in biology. During the spring of 2021, I had an internship with Progressive Pediatric, a place that specializes in giving both children on the spectrum and children who aren't the opportunities and tools needed to succeed in their future. I was responsible for children ranging from 1-years old to 9-years old. However, I have been babysitting for 6+ years now so my experience goes far past that age range. I have also worked as a veterinarian technician so I am very experienced with animals as well. My passion is children and I am currently in nursing school and will hopefully specialize in neonatal or the NICU. I am a certified CMAA (certified medical administrative assistant), certified in BLS (basic life support), and CPR.
