About Mayara

If you’re reading this and considering Mayara as your nanny, let me save you some time: she’s that rare gem you absolutely want in your family’s life. She was with us from January to August of 2025, and frankly, if we hadn’t moved states, we’d still have her. Mayara stepped in after a rough patch. We’d gone through tons of profiles and a few misses, but from the moment we spoke to her, it just clicked. She managed our two boys, then three and two years old, like she’d known them forever. She got our oldest out the door for preschool every morning, helped him transition back in the afternoons, and made sure his food needs (allergies and all) were met perfectly. With our youngest, she was the steady hand that helped him graduate from diapers to potty training like a champ. She nurtured his development—letters, dancing, speaking. But more importantly, she gave him that one-on-one bond. Honestly, you could see the spark—he felt safe, cared for, and he blossomed with that attention. Mayara wasn’t just great with the kids—she kept the household flowing. She adapted to our schedules, always punctual, and was a pro at passing the baton to family members on other days. She shared her culture too—teaching bits of Portuguese, enriching our kids’ world. In short, Mayara gave us peace of mind. She’s trustworthy, caring, and just naturally brilliant at what she does.
