About Maya

Hi! I'm Maya - a recent LMU graduate (3. 89 GPA) who genuinely loves working with kids and being part of their growth and everyday moments. I started by watching my younger cousins throughout high school and college, and later taught art at a local elementary school, where I realized how much I enjoy connecting with kids and balancing being both a supportive and responsible figure. I'd describe my approach as friendly, patient, creative, and adaptable - whether we're baking, reading, doing art, or learning something new, I aim to make each moment meaningful and fun. I value open communication and like to keep an easy line of texting for updates or questions. Outside of work, I love cooking, reading, music, and getting outside. I know every family and child is different, and I take pride in fitting into your routine while creating a safe, positive, and reliable environment.
