About Maya

Hi! I'm Maya, a recent Sarah Lawrence College graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing. I have three years of experience working in child care and education, with children from ages four to eight. I bond well with children because I love to nurture. I enjoy reading to children, making crafts and coloring together, playing interactive or board games, facilitating their outdoor activities, and assisting them with homework. In my free time I enjoy avidly reading books, writing poetry, taking nature walks, and cooking. I am warm, friendly, cautious, hygienic, and very patient. I am also able to do light housekeeping or cooking if needed. I am available to work weekdays from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. In my care, I guarantee your children will be in excellent hands :)
