About Maya

Hello! My name is Maya. I'm a current sophomore at The New School. With five years of experience caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers, I offer a patient, creative, and friendly approach. I've worked as an English and Writing tutor for the past 3 years, my students ranging from 3rd grade to AP 12 levels. My background in education allows me to incorporate fun learning activities into our time together, including board games, puzzles, and creative projects. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time and will always follow your preferred communication style to keep you updated on your child's day. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I'm very comfortable with household rules, but may ask for some additional guidance to ensure I'm following your lead. I also love all pets and have no allergies!
