About Maya

I have always LOVED working with kids! I have grown up in a large family with about 15 younger cousins. I have played sports my entire life, including college soccer. In my summers home from school, I would substitute teach near my hometown where my mother was a teacher. I spent 3 years in college as a full time nanny, driving, cooking and cleaning. I have even traveled with the family in multiple family vacations. Unfortunately I moved after graduation but still speak to the family all of the time! I truly miss working with kids and would love to find part time work in Charlotte! I'd describe my personality as outgoing, charismatic and active. I like working with kids because I find so much humor and compassion with daily conversations. I started working with kids when I was as young as 13. I have been a babysitter for many families, a camp counselor, substitute teacher and a soccer coach! In my spare time, I like to workout, hangout with my friends and family and travel!
