My name is Maya and I have been working with kids as long as I can remember. I like to call myself 5 years old on the inside. I love playing as I work but know when to be serious and fully act like an adult. I have experience working in an After-School programs with kids age 5-10. I planned and implemented fun, engaging and educational activities that helped develop interpersonal and fine motor skills. I also worked at Camp Orkila for 2 summers teaching arts and crafts and facilitating other activities. During the online era of the pandemic, I have worked with a family of 4 and helped everyone during the difficult time of online COVID school. Currently I work with an amazing 6 yo boy and his parents but as he is starting full time school soon, I am exploring other options.
