About Maya

I'd describe my personality as positive, fun loving and patient I like working with kids because looking after them, keeping them safe and happy in the absence of their parents, is one of the most rewarding jobs in my opinion. I started working with kids when I was 17 years old as a babysitter after school and on the weekends for multiple families. Other experiences I've had with children includes being a summer camp counselor for multiple years, day care teacher and the full time nanny position I held before leaving to give birth to and care for my son. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my family friends, go outside and do activities like hiking, biking, play basketball. In addition to that I also love photography, writing and finding different arts and crafts or diy projects to do. One thing you should know about me is with me your children will always be safe, cared for and heard. My skills include compassion, creativity and age appropriate communication
