Hi, I'm Maya! I am a current BFA student at Parsons School of Design, pershing a career in Fine Arts and Education. I have about 6 years of pet service experience with animals such as cats, dogs, fish, and turtles. I have a dog of my own (4 years old) whom I assisted in training, as well as a cat (9 years old). That to say, I love animal friends very much! I do not consider the animals I care for as pets, but more so beings in need of attention and love. A large factor of my relationship with my own pets is the action of observing them mindfully, allowing them to be curious and designating a secure sense of trust. I'm very energetic and love to play, groom, and train! I am also keen to noticing atypical behavior, and investigate the well being of an unwell pet.
