About Maya

As a childcare provider with 15 years of experience, I'm passionate about nurturing children's growth and development. I am patient, calm, and creative, which allows me to engage with children effectively. I believe in open communication with parents and prioritize their preferred methods for receiving updates about their child's day. My skills include enforcing household rules as guided by the parents, and organizing a variety of games and activities for children, both educational and fun. I am comfortable caring for up to four children, aged 0-11, and have completed relevant coursework in early child development. Additionally, I am certified in First Aid and CPR, and am happy to assist with tasks like cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and supervising swimming activities. Becoming a childcare provider was a natural choice for me, and I find immense joy in positively impacting children's lives.
