About Maya

I am a full time singer songwriter, and also motivational speaker and published writer. I have experience doing workshops for all ages, including middle school through university-age, all around the world. I'm an active cultural envoy, hired by many American Embassies and U. S. State Department, to tour doing music and public speaking. I've also worked as a guest artist mentor teaching Highschool students about storytelling, believing in themselves, songwriting, singing, and recording technique. I've visited a multitude of High Schools through a program named BCAL, with their offices on Brooklyn College Campus. I have a lot of knowledge and real life experience that I'd enjoy sharing with your youth. I am highly energetic and positive. I've done a lot of life coaching, informally. I see the best and the potential in all people.
