About maya

Hi! My name is Maya, I'm 19 years old and a proud mom to a baby boy. Caring for my own child has given me hands-on experience with patience, responsibility, and understanding children's needs on a deeper level. I currently live in Oceanside, NY and am looking to gain more experience working with families. Childcare has always been a big part of my life. My family owns a NYS-licensed daycare in Brooklyn, NY, where I've worked with children of all ages. I've also volunteered at elementary schools and taken education classes throughout high school, helping me build a strong foundation in child development. I am CPR certified and always prioritize safety while creating a fun, nurturing environment. I also have four dogs, so I'm very comfortable around pets. I would describe myself as kind, loving, and dependable, and I truly enjoy helping children grow and feel supported.
