About Maya

I eagerly began my childcare journey at 12 years old, starting as a mother's helper. At 15, I began as Kids Club Counselor at a gym, a role I held for almost 3 years. Since then, I've babysat for over 30 families in VA, CO, and CA and held long-term nannying positions. In my last two years of high school, I nannied for two families year-round, with combined ages ranging from 1 to 12 years old. During COVID, while finishing college online, I nannied for a rambunctious 2-year-old girl. Altogether, I've cared for children as young as 3 months and as old as 14, including multi-child households. I love making up games and dances, baking and cooking with kids, creating crafts, and getting outside to play. Professionally, I spent the last 5 years working in sports (Special Olympics, Denver Broncos, NFLPA) and recently moved into Talent Ventures in the entertainment industry. Throughout my career changes, childcare has been a constant source of joy, creativity, and purpose.
