About Maxwell

I'm a photographer and artist by trade, and much of my commercial photography has coincidentally been with kids. From photographing youth basketball teams for Jordan, to touring schools across the country with EA Sports, working with children is the best. I've babysat most of my life, and lead summer camps in the Dominican Republic. Many programs I've worked inspire health through sport, but I think creativity is the real key for the spirituality and self realization of young people! Seeing so many little ones glued to iPads and phones, I'm a proponent for art as an enriching alternative. Showing kids creative practices to adopt, as interesting substitutes to endless screen time feels important. This summer, I will also be hosting a program called Skate Smarts, combining skateboarding lessons and math, working alongside a physicist in Oak Park. No matter the program, I've always found working with children to be rewarding, and go home happier than I arrived.
