About Maxwell

I have experience as a youth counselor at the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program, as a teacher at the Cambridge Youth Enrichment Program and as a special needs teacher at the Sunshine Projects day program. Some of my ongoing tutoring sessions with special needs students include an emphasis on building confidence and communication skills through fun improvisation exercises, story telling, discussing images and ideas that fascinate my students, as well as drawing and communicating about our self expression through art and play. For more advanced students who have a specific interest or area of study they would like to focus on, whether in the worlds of screenwriting and acting, music or games, conversation and life skills, or something else they feel passionate about, I have been devising lesson plans that cater to those interests and stimulate exciting and fun learning environments!
