About Max

Hi, I'm Max, a Brooklyn-based caretaker with a deep personal commitment to elder care. I've supported my grandmother through her dementia journey and helped my closest friend navigate caring for his father through brain cancer--experiences that have shaped me into a patient, attentive, and emotionally present companion. I also serve on the board of Stonewall CDC, a nonprofit dedicated to housing justice and homecare for LGBTQ+ older adults, so elder care is a big part of my community work too. I understand that caring for an aging loved one can be overwhelming, and I bring both practical reliability and genuine warmth to every interaction. I'm comfortable with memory care, companionship, light household help, and simply being a steady, kind presence for someone who needs it.
