I believe that child care is all about the children I work with first. What are their habits? Their likes and dislikes? How can I build my time around their needs while facilitating the boundaries set in place by the parents? I can't wait to take care of you child! I have 4 years of child care experience. Three years working at an all boys sleep away camp ages 11-14 where I taught outdoor and leadership skills as well as lead multi-day backpacking trips. Most recently, I completed a year working in the San Diego school districts elementary afterschool program as an assistant program coordinator. There, I would look after and facilitate activities for children ages 6-11 while they waited for their parents to pick them up.
