About Maureen

If you have the opportunity to hire Maureen, jump on it. We won the caregiver lottery with her and sadly our time is over because my dad passed on. Maureen had the utmost compassion for my dad. She loved my dad as if he were her own father for the past 3 1/2 years. She was also extremely competent with his complex medical situation. My mother was the only other person who knew him that well, and so much to say that I think Maureen had a better handle on it. My dad had a stroke, very limited mobility, dementia, peritoneal dialysis, wounds, orthopedic issues, just to name a few. She can handle anything. With assertiveness and love. And any time we had a medical emergency at home she knew exactly what to do. My dad needed lots of care - pretty much 18 hours per day. And she was my his primary caregiver. She would be the one giving the part-time caregivers detailed instructions about his daily routines with either 1-on-1 instruction or photos and videos. Seriously, Maureen’s level of care, knowledge, attention to detail is unmatched. You won’t find another one like her.
