I have been working with young children, from infancy to 10 for about 20 years. I am an experienced caregiver who fosters a nurturing environment for children. I am originally from the Boston area, where I was a toddler and preschool teacher, as well as a nanny. From there I moved to Pennsylvania, where I was a nanny for 2 families. I am CPR and first aid certified and also hold a Massachusetts infant/toddler and preschool early childhood education teacher certification as that is where I did all my teaching. I treasure my experience working with children. I find working with kids is not only fun, but also one of the most rewarding jobs you can have. As an educator and caretaker, my philosophy revolves around creating a stimulating environment while showing compassion and concern for the child.

Maureen was a wonderful part of our family for nearly 4 years, and likely would still be with us had we not relocated. She started when our boys were 6 and 3. They ADORE her. Maureen connected with the boys in a caring and fun way while maintaining structure and order. They listened to her and respected her. My husband and I would come home to happy kids, completed homework, dinner prepped, and an orderly home. Maureen was very active with the kids and played outside with them every day. She would relay concerns to us about the kids health or behavior in a professional manner. Maureen was flexible when our childcare needs would change due to summer camp, a new school schedule, or the ultimate.....she worked full time hours for nearly a year when we welcomed our 3rd child! Even with the new baby around, she found ways to connect with our older boys (8 and 5 at the time), reading a chapter book series to out oldest and exploring nature or doing arts & crafts with our middle. Maureen is wonderful with tweens, kids, and babies. She does it all and we would have never made it through those years in one piece without her!
