I have always had a passion for teaching and tutoring others. While attending the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, I tutored elementary and high school aged students in the area and taught science summer classes through Kid's Institute. While in college, I tutored calculus for Ripon College and was the Genetics tutor at Saint Xavier University. I also tutored high school and college aged individuals in the Chicagoland area, gaining experience tutoring individuals with autism and other learning disabilities. Tutoring is something I really enjoy and look forward to! In the summer of 2016, I graduated with highest honors from Saint Xavier University, earning a degree in biochemistry. I am currently pursuing a masters degree in secondary education at Lewis University as a Robert Noyce Scholar.

Maura is awesome! Beside being very intelligent, she is responsible, available and really good at what she does. Maura has tutored my daughter for about 1 1/2 years. Last year she helped my daughter go from C's and D's in pre-calc to A's! This school year she has helped her get an A in Calculus (1st semester). There have been many times Maura has met my daughter last minute just to get her back on track. She has even texted her answers and explanations the night before a big test. I recommended her to a friend (again for pre-calc) and same results! She's a great tutor! She goes above and beyond.
