About Maura

Hi there, I am a Teachers College Columbia University trained English teacher of 25 years and am capable of teaching little kids as well as high school students. I make fun out of learning. All of my students will say I am dynamic, very smart, create wonderful templates, and likable! I am also very creative and design my own lessons. Because of my experience and expertise, I charge $75-$85 a lesson. Students can reach out to me via online chat for up to a half hour each week as part of the lesson price. I also teach advanced placement students as well as special needs ones. I am currently teaching freshman composition for advanced high school seniors at a nonprofit held at Drew U on Saturdays. So I have experience working with college kids too. Thank you!
