About Maura

I'm passionate about helping elementary students unlock their unique potential. With five years of experience, I create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments. I vary my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I break down complex problems into manageable steps to build momentum. Communication builds trust, so I foster a collaborative environment among students and parents. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is incredibly rewarding. I am comfortable with pets, and I am available to tutor at your home or the library in English, Art, Music & Drama, Sports & Fitness, and Special Education. I am excited to share my love for learning with your child!
