About Maura

Hi there! My name is Maura and I'm a recent graduate of the University of Delaware where I studied Elementary Education with a concentration in special education. I have been a substitute teacher part time for the past 3 years for both my own elementary school and high school for grades 7-12 (including with special education students). I'm licensed to teach elementary education and special education in Delaware and currently waiting on my Oregon license! I have been babysitting children (ranging from 2 months to 14) since the age of 15 and nannying for families since 16. I have a very reliable car available and a perfect driving record - and am willing to travel to help out! I'm easy-going, relaxed and love to play with kids. I feel that in order to build a trust and bond with the children you watch, you have to show them respect and interested in the activities they like to do!
