About Maura

Hi, I'm Maura! I'm a Registered Nurse (BSN, RN) with a board-certified specialty in pediatrics (CPN). Before becoming a nurse, I spent 6 years working as an early-education teacher. For the past four years, I've worked primarily in pediatric hospitals and also provided in-home nursing care for ex-NICU twins. I have experience caring for children from infancy through adolescence, including those with complex medical needs. Most recently, I worked as a pediatric travel nurse while saving for graduate school in Ireland, where I'll begin my master's program this September. Since I don't have enough time to take another travel contract before school starts, I'm looking for a summer nannying or babysitting position in the Berkshires. I have current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications and bring a warm, creative, and dependable approach to childcare.
