About Mattie

Hi! My name is Mattie, and I'm 21 years old. I'm currently finishing cosmetology school at Cape Fear Community College and work part time at a hair salon, which gives me availability for childcare. I absolutely love children and have lots of hands on experience. I have seven nieces and nephews, all under the age of seven, and have spent years caring for children of different ages and personalities. I especially enjoy caring for babies and young children and love keeping kids entertained, doing crafts and activities, playing outside, and creating a safe, fun, and comfortable environment. I'm responsible, patient, dependable, and attentive, and I understand how important it is for parents to have someone they can trust. I'm happy to follow your family's routines and preferences and can help with light housekeeping when needed. I'm available for occasional babysitting, date nights, weekends, and other childcare needs. I'd love to get to know your family and see if I'd be a good fit!
