About Mattie

Hello! My name is Mattie, and I have over 10 years of childcare experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to middle schoolers. Throughout the years, I've worked with families in many different settings, including regular babysitting, church childcare, homeschool communities, and one-room schoolhouses. I have experience caring for multiple children at once, driving to activities, helping with homework, preparing meals, bedtime routines, and supporting children with a variety of learning differences and special needs. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where children feel loved, respected, and cared for. I enjoy building genuine relationships with the families I work with and strive to be someone parents can trust and children look forward to spending time with. Outside of childcare, I enjoy reading, hiking, swing dancing, spending time on our farm, serving at my church, and, drinking lots of coffee.
