Matthew here, a Northwestern/NYU graduate with 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring all across the education spectrum! I've worked with students of all ages: some preparing for the SAT, ACT, LSAT, and some just looking to boost their grades. I'm fresh off a year homeschooling a family of 3 elementary-aged students, and I'm looking to build my client base! With an average score increase of 3 points on the ACT and 150 points on the SAT, I have a proven track record of success when it comes to helping students get the scores they want - in fact, I've had students get perfect scores on individual sections! I don't even know where to start! We used Matthew for about 8 months to prep for the ACT. I was personally dreading listening weekly to my teenage son complain about weekly tutoring sessions but during session 1, I could believe my ears. I heard LAUGHTER! Matthew is smart, engaging, and very much knows how to teach kids to keep them interested. Not only did my son's ACT scores go up, the lessons he learned from Matthew spilled over into his schoolwork. The phrase "Matthew showed me" was used daily! As a parent he is so easy to talk to, super fast to respond. I could give him 100 stars, we feel very lucky to have found him!
