About Matthew

Hi! My name is Matt and I am about to graduate from Miami University with my bachelors degree in Integrated Social Studies Education with a minor in History. School was not always easy for me, so I know what its like to be a struggling student; now that I am a formally trained educator I have the skills and knowledge to help students who require some positive assistance and encouragement. My main goal as an educator and tutor is to bring useful and helpful context to the students learning so that they can understand and apply the learning material with ease! As well as open the students mind to see how what they learn in school is used outside of the classroom. As a student who overcame obstacles to reach my goals, I want to help students learn from my mistakes and use my knowledge and experience to help students overcome their own obstacles and attain their goals! I have a deep passion for learning and helping others learn, about themselves and subjects I am passionate about.
