About Matthew

I'd describe my personality as kind, friendly, and calming. I like tutoring because I really enjoy teaching others in a one on one environment. There is more opportunity to help students understand the material in their own unique learning style. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help others learn material they may have struggled with in the past. I had many great teachers who helped me and now I would like to pay it forward. I started tutoring when I was at New England Tech and some of my classmates where struggling with anatomy and physiology. I was able to connect with them and explain the information in a different way that made more sense. In my spare time, I like to go skiing, read books, bring my wife and my dog on hikes, go fishing, cook, and play guitar or piano. One thing you should know about me is that I understand what it's like to need a little extra help with certain subjects. I am creative at presenting information in a more unique and palatable way.
