About Mattea

I teach art to elementary age children. I consider myself to work well with children, letting them do what they enjoy, while also keeping them safe and abiding by the expectations. Spending time with kids is one of my favorite things to do! While I am not currently certified for CPR and First Aid I have been in the past, and am willing to re-certify myself. I am fully Covid vaccinated with my first booster. I wear a mask when needed and I do at home tests whenever I show symptoms. I am very Covid conscious! I would love to work on some arts and crafts with your kids, or take them out and about. For a few summers I worked as a lead teacher at a summer camp for kids age 5-12, and coming up with activities to do with the kiddos that are fun and educational is something I have experience with. I have a very reliable 2015 Honda Fit which has never given me any trouble. Also, being a teacher I know that kids can sometimes be a little challenging, but a little bit of patience can go a long.
