About Mattan

Hi! I'm new to Charlotte! I just graduated Summa Cum Laude from Appalachian State University where I studied philosophy and religion. Eventually I'd like to run a funeral home and a dog rescue and be a rocket scientist, but I'm not quite finished growing up yet. I'm happy to watch kids at pretty much any age, even though I have a soft spot for that early-elementary age where kids still think you're cool for being an adult, and they have so many off-the-wall unexpected thoughts. I think that's where they're most curious and creative because they haven't learned yet that there's a world out there that will try to judge and tame them. I want to be a real part of your child's life. I don't see babysitting as just a job, but as a formative part of a child's development. I want to help teach your children empathy, self-awareness, confidence, and even algebra if I have to. I can't wait to meet you!
