About Matilda

We hired Matilda to supervise our boys (ages 6 and 8) during online school during the pandemic. She also babysits for us on date nights. We would hire her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her! Matilda brought so much energy, creativity and compassion to the job. Our boys did not have an easy time with online school and she had a good sense of when to use positive motivation and when to enforce consequences. She also worked with both boys to review skills and lessons they were struggling with. She communicated well with us, offered suggestions, and implemented our guidance. During free time she played with them inside or outside and really engaged their imaginations. During school breaks she drove them to area parks and attractions. She often brought books, games, or activities that catered to their interests. Our boys are in summer camp now, but they still look forward to her babysitting and never give us a hard time leaving, which tells me a lot about their bond with her!
