Thank goodness it's almost summer! I'm a sixth grade ELA teacher in North Charleston, and I might be more excited than my students. I have babysat since I was 12 for different age groups, mostly 8 and under, and I've worked at a multitude of summer camps. Outside of teaching, I also coach basketball and track. School and sports are out for the summer, and I don't handle free time well. I would much rather spend my time exploring Charleston and expanding young minds, in groups of less than 27 kids, instead of stressing over next year's lesson plans. Hopefully, we can work something out!
