About Mary

I am a certified Early Childhood teacher, retiring in June from 25 years teaching public preschool in New Brunswick. Although I no longer wish to teach in a classroom setting, my passion for working with young children has never waned. For me, the very best part of teaching/parenting has always been the joy of getting to know children individually, discovering what interests them the most and then providing engaging educational experiences that foster curiosity and a love of learning. As a private caregiver, I see an exciting opportunity to tailor caregiving and teaching to suit the needs of children and their families. I am certified in both CPR and First Aid, and I am proficient in Spanish. My own personal passions include art, nature, science, outdoor activities, travel, photography, children's literature, eating healthy and exercising regularly at a fitness club in Red Bank, all of which I can happily share with children in my care.
